Has anbody else bent a Speak & Spell according to the schematic in Reed Ghazala's 'Circuit Bending' book? I found most of the bends he describes and have the 'pitch' 'loop' and 2 of the 3 'glitch' bends, but one of these 'glitch' bends won't do anything, either on its own or in combination with the other two, has anyone else found this? or is it just my dodgy soldering or something? The points highlighted in blue are the ones that the glitch should come from, but aren't. click the image for the full size pic. Pz.

You should like... scan them there schematics and post them here... and any other good ones you find ;D... I will go test that on an unbent S&S later when I am not feeling so lazy and I'll tell you.

Sorry I don't have a scanner , or rather I did have a scanner, but never got it to work with my mac. I can reccomend the book though, at least for someone new to bending like myself, although it does have details on how to bend around 18 different devices, so I guess there's something for most people in there.

alright, then. I haven't been able to find it other than online is all... and I'm way-totally-broke as usual.

Once I get this one working right, I will label up a jpg in photoshop with the bends that work.

^ I thought it might be that, although he gives schematics for the 'original' S&S and what he calls the 'common' S&S, the common one looks the closest but there are a few minor differences on mine as far as I can tell. I had to play around to find an alternative loop point as the one he described didn't do it on mine, but everything else works barring this one glitch.
Oh well, I found a couple he didn't mention when I was playing around with it, so I guess I'll hook them up to some switches instead.
