I JUST added a momentary push button to my speak and math... the cool part (but a part that also worries me) is that while not engaged, it performs the bend (as if it were pushed down) it's actually pretty cool, and VERY convenient... but what's the dealio, holmes? Might I overload the the circuit? That's what worries me... Oh well... It's still pretty cool... neat glitching.

No, not really... I won't say never because there are rare occasionas where it will sometimes glitch a bit after I push it down, but it goes back into "normal" mode after a second or two of glitching at the most (but I've experienced the momentary glitching after disengaging other buttons/switches with a lot of thigs like Speaks, so I assume it's fine if it dosen't continualy glitch) It's really working just the way it should, only reversed...

sorry about the double post, but I'm too lazy to go back... I feel it *might* be important to mention, it's not really a "glitch" but a loop... it gets some weird sounds though... but I meant loop. (it's a connection from I believe both the opposite ends on the bottom part of the voice synthesis chip, but I'm not totally sure)

you got the wrong momentary button. you got a Normally Closed button, you need a Normally Open. a Normally Closed button will close the circuit when in the "off" position and open the circuit when in the "on" position.
back to Radio Shack....

hey, thanks a lot... I actually don't mind it because it's better than having to hold it down all the time, and it's quicker than flipping a switch up and down to change to looping) I'm just glad it's nothing serious... I bought a pack of four of those buttons though, haha... I didn't read it, not knowing they made them that way... Oh well... I think I'll putt an on/off switch inbetween the button for when I don't want it to keep looping... Thanks again for the information.
